“Atomic V” Branding

I was commissioned by my husband to create a logo for his progressive metal solo project, Atomic V.

He asked for a monolithic geometric look, while also branching out from the sides organically. He wanted a juxtapostion between the unnatural and natural. He has an interest in triangles, so we decided to play off of the shape of the V for this monolithic look. We also choose to incorporate galaxy inspired colors and textures to reference the broad range of musical inspirations he plans to draw from in his music, including the genres of progressive rock and metal, melodic death metal, and synth wave.
